The Journal Movie

The Journal

Vietnam, 1973. Cameron Wilder fights on two battlefields: the physical battles in the jungle, and the spiritual battles in his heart. The journal was given to him by his mother before he left, and for the rest of the time Cameron lived on earth, it never left him. Devastated by the loss of both his father and brother, Nicholas Wilder completely rejects God, Christianity, and his mother’s concern for him. But all that is about to change on one fateful day. The Journal is a story of peace and joy in the midst of a world of conflict. It is the fictional story of how a young soldier found God in the middle of a “God-forsaken jungle.”

The Journal

is the first Stembridge Mill production. It was selected as a semi-finalist competing for the Young Filmmakers Award at the 2007 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.
